Cacao & Banana Porridge Squares

The blueberry porridge squares were a big hit with all of you so I thought I would experiment with new flavours. One combination that works a dream is cacao and banana. The gooeyness of the banana paired with the chocolatey-ness flavour from the cacao really is a match made in heaven – and even better, these porridge squares are ideal for breakfast.

I love to make these at the weekend because this is when I have a bit more time to make and enjoy my breakfast. Plus you can enjoy the rest of the squares in the week ahead – a perfect healthy on-the-go breakfast.

method
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

  • Mix everything together in a bowl until well combined.

  • Pour into the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes. Leave to cool before slicing.
