These raw gingerbread balls are one of my favourite creations. I am still amazed at how quick and simple they are to make, as they are honestly one of the yummiest things I’ve eaten. Even if you’re not a ginger fan, you can adjust the amount depending on your own tastes, but I’m a bit of a ginger fiend! I have to admit that I could gobble a whole bowl, but as a fun way to serve them I’ll put them on the end of sticks so they look like cake pops!
Raw Gingerbread Balls
ingredients
                      Gingerbread ball
- 3 teaspoon ground ginger
 
- 100g ground almonds
 
- 100g oat flour
 
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil - melted
 
- 5 tablespoons maple syrup
 
Raw Chocolate
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil
 
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
 
- 8 tablespoons cacao powder
 
- pinch salt

          method
    - 
Mix mix all of the ball ingredients together in a bowl.
 - 
Roll into balls and refrigerate.
 - 
In a Bain marie melt the coconut oil for the raw chocolate.
 - 
Add the other ingredients and mix until smooth.
 - 
Dip the balls into the chocolate and refrigerate until set.
 - 
Keep stored in the fridge.
