As you may have seen with the buzz over Instagram, we held our first ever pop-up in October! It has passed us by in the blink of an eye and now that we have returned to the office we were not prepared to feel the pop-up blues (yes, that is a legitimate thing). In an attempt to keep pop-up week alive, I thought I’d share with you my personal highlights (SPOILER: it just might have something to do with eating desserts).
Meeting all of YOU
Our first ever pop-up store wouldn’t have been possible without all of your continuous support and passion for the brand. Being able to create a physical space for you to interact with the team, the products and to try London’s best, most indulgent vegan dessert bowls was a total dream come true.
Hosting some incredible exclusive events
Not only did we open our doors to all of you, we also welcomed some of the most successful CEOs and Founders of our favourite companies. We really wanted to give you an exclusive opportunity to discover how each panellist turned a million pound idea into a business. Sharing the evening with these incredible people Dom Smales (CEO of Gleam Futures), Will Bowler (MD of Popchips), Renée Elliott (Founder of Planet Organic) and Emma Watkinson (Founder of SilkFred) was a huge personal highlight and I’m so grateful for their time.
Creating (read eating) the most delicious dessert bowls
This is a given - obviously. How could the dessert bowls not have their own shoutout?! I think we can all agree that our Greedy and Multi Millionaire bowls were the tastiest desserts ever - fact. A lot of blood, sweat and eating went into developing those indulgent pots of joy and, from watching your reactions in store and reading your feedback on Instagram, I can confidently say they went down a treat.
Celebrating our brand new flavour: Salted Peanut Butter
Pop-up week was a huge celebration to welcome the newest edition to the LK product family (perhaps our favourite family member to date - shh don’t tell). With a giant millionaire Instagram wall, a #nutsformillionaires hashtag and an edible experience to indulge your inner millionaire, our pop-up was all about the millionaire bites. Both Greedy and Multi Millionaire bowls were topped with lashings of peanut sauce and handfuls of our delicious new Salted Peanut Butter Millionaire Bites giving you all the chance to taste our brand new flavour.
Working with the best of the best
After helping us organise and host our Nugglets Launch Party, we were thrilled that The Edit Events were up for round two (a slightly bigger round two). As expected, they did an incredible job in making all our events and the entire pop-up week run flawlessly. We also count ourselves very lucky to have continuous support from lots of our favourite brands so a massive thank you to Anthropologie, Eat by Chloe, Eventwide London, LA Brewery, Neom Organics, Pic’s Peanut Butter, Planet Organic, Plenish Drinks, Popchips, Rokit Pods, Rude Health, Sweaty Betty, Teapigs, Thomson and Scott, Ue Coffee Roasters and Well & Truly for helping us celebrate the launch of Salted Peanut Butter Millionaire Bites and supporting our first ever pop-up. You enabled us to give away the ultimate goodie bags! Of course, I would not have survived the past week without my incredible team - they really are the best.
After one of the busiest, most rewarding experiences of my career so far, I am finding it difficult to fully let go of pop up week. So for now, I will continue eating the leftover dessert bowls and pretend I am back in 14 Hinde Street.
