At Livia’s we are committed to using only real naturally sourced ingredients in every product and every recipe. We are proud of our ingredients list and will never use anything that isn't naturally found in food.
Natural foods are foods that have been unaltered and are just what they would be like naturally. Unlike processed foods that have been manipulated from their natural state biologically, chemically or mechanically.
Using natural plant-based ingredients has amazing health benefits as well as helping to protect our planet.
CACAO & COCOA
We use cacao and cocoa in its natural form without any chemical intervention. We love the rich deep chocolatey flavour it gives to a recipe.
Rich in natural saturated fats which increases good cholesterol. We use it in baking to replace butter to bind ingredients together.
An excellent source of dietary fibre and can be easily digested allowing our bodies to make full use of their goodness. The dates we use are high quality Deglet Nour Dates. We use them in recipes as a natural sweetener but also to bind ingredients.
We use natural orange oil and zest in our Chocolate Orange Million Squares. It’s completely pure and natural and gives the most delicious zingy taste to this bestselling treat!
A natural source of slow-releasing carbohydrates to give you energy. Oats are also rich in fibre and full of antioxidants to keep the heart healthy!
High in fibre and rich in Omega-3, Flaxseed can help with digestion and reduce inflammation. It has a delicious nutty flavour and we use it to add moisture to a recipe.
Composed of monounsaturated fats AKA ‘healthy fats’, almonds are known for decreasing high levels of ‘bad cholesterol’ in the body . They are also high in fibre, rich in potassium, low in sugar and high in protein!
Naturally low in sugar and high in protein. We blend Hazelnuts to create a velvety delicious texture for Dunx Dip!
Derived from the flower buds of coconut trees, it has minimal effect on blood sugar levels. It’s rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc and B vitamins. Coconut sugar is used as a replacement for brown sugar and gives a rich caramel flavour in recipes.
Rice flour is an excellent source of fibre. We love using it as a natural gluten-free replacement for flour in cakes and muffins.
A natural source of protein and can be blended into peanut butter to replace dairy butter in baking. We also use pure natural peanuts in our Dunx Dips!
PURE MAPLE SYRUP
Maple syrup is derived from the sugary sap from the maple tree. It tastes delicious and brings out the flavour of many other ingredients in a recipe.
