Apple and Cinnamon Porridge Squares

My porridge squares have been some of my most popular recipes on the blog; they are so simple and make the perfect breakfast or afternoon snack with a good cup of tea. I have already created a chocolatey version and a blueberry one but with October now upon us, I thought it may be nice to share a more autumnal version of this much loved snack. I can’t tell you how many times these squares have saved me as I was rushing out the door and I love baking a tray of them for long car journeys too!

Prep: 10 minutes

Cook: 25 minutes

Total: 35 minutes

Suepr easy



  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a brownie tin
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
  • Pour into your lined tin and smooth the top
  • Bake for 25 minutes
  • Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing
