Chocolate orange brownie
Makes 15 squares.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line your brownie tin.
Add the cashew butter, coconut oil and almond milk to a pan and heat it up on a low heat. Stir it until the coconut oil is melted and everything is combined.
Take your coconut and cashew mix of the heat and add maple syrup.
In a separate bowl: mix cacao powder, ground almonds, coconut sugar, oat flour, salt and orange zest.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and combine everything.
Pour the mix in a lined brownie tin (24.5 cm x 17 cm) and spread it out evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes and let it cool for at least 10 minutes. It can be enjoyed hot (extra gooey) but is equally as good after being left in the fridge for a few hours.
Optional: top it with your favourite chocolate spread and some orange zest.
Store it in an airtight container for up to a week. You can eat it straight from the fridge or enjoy it heated up again.
